SASKIA
MADISON
Saskia, wife of Miami Dolphin
Sam has joined Macken Realty. She lives in Davie
with Sam and their two year old son Kellen and
is five months pregnant. She recently launched
her real estate career. Prior to this she was
deeply involved in the Madison Avenue for Kids
Foundation, something she plans to continue
in spite of her busy career. The 18 month old
Foundation not only gives financial help to
disadvantaged children in Florida but helps
them achieve a better quality of life. The program
includes things such as visiting museums, teaching
dining etiquette and how to apply for a job,
and other skills needed to succeed in the world.
Born in England, Saskia moved to Tampa when
she was 10 years old where she completed most
of her education. She visited Miami every month
when she got older to see a best friend and
it was during one of these visits that she was
set up to meet Sam. “Our first date was
on his birthday and we went to Joe’s Stone
Crab. I took my girlfriend along as a chaperon
since I really didn’t know him,”
she says. Apparently it worked out well- they
will be married 3 years next year. Saskia says
that Sam is very supportive of her new career.
She feels that this is a way to build a life
after football and this is a great time to get
involved since South Florida real estate is
booming. In addition to her real estate license,
Saskia keeps up her license as a registered
pharmacist. And in her spare time she admits
that she is a daredevil, something that really
scares Sam. “I am not a very good swimmer
but I love water sports like jet skiing. I just
love to be outdoors. And I guess you would also
call me a book nerd.” Since her affiliation
with Macken Realty, Saskia has sold many distintive
properties in Davie, Weston, and Plantation.
She is tailoring her services to professional
athletes as she is intimately aware of their
needs and wish lists. Aligning herself with
Macken Realty enhances her career in that Macken
has established themselves in the niche market
of providing homes to over 50 professional athletes
in recent years. To contact Saskia, call (954)
